Me scowling in wonder story xD

Does anyone recognize this book and what it’s called?

There was a book I recently remembered reading a lot when I was a kid. I must have borrowed it hundreds of times from my school library but I can’t for the life of me remember what it was called. It was a collection of short stories, but they were all really kind of creepy.

One story about a girl who always wore a ribbon around her neck. She grew up with this one little boy and they ended up getting married, but he would always ask why she wore the ribbon. He asked all throughout their lives but she wouldn’t answer. It wasn’t until she was on her death bed that she ‘told’ him. She took off the ribbon and it turns out that’s what kept her head attached to her neck, so it rolled onto the floor when she removed it.

There was another one that I remember as well that I’m pretty sure was in the book. It was a little girl who kept crying and whining about wanting a pony. She would always say “If I don’t get a pony I’ll die!” In the end she finally gets it, but dies anyways.

YEAH, I READ THIS WHEN I WAS LIKE IN ELEMENTARY. I’M A COOL KID. :’D Butyeah, that book was totally boss. Does anyone know the one I’m talking about?

Thanks Mom
Me: Mom, my game glitched! Look, I'm alive but I can't do anything!
Mom: -laughs- You're alive but can't do anything? Sounds like your life.
